I have found it useful to have a morning routine to ground me in the present moment and in my body. Here are free apps that you can access that I find really helpful.



Insight Timer has many meditation and relaxation recordings from 5 to 60 minutes long, so you can always find one to fit your schedule.  I love the Sonic Yogi singing bowls and The Stillpoint Yoga Nidra  sessions!  https://insighttimer.com/



Simply Yoga is a free yoga program where you can do a 25, 35, or 45 minute session. You can skip a pose if it's too easy or hard for you. I find the 25 minute session is great for a basic stretching sequence in the morning.   https://dailyworkoutapps.com




If you feel like you want to shake things up a bit I can recommend the online Zumba classes of Angie and Judy! They are based in Oakland, CA and their hour long classes are super fun. If you're new to Zumba I recommend doing just the arms or legs until you get the hang of it. They are free too but if you want to make a donation you can.
